Hi!! I’m a senior and an EIC for the Southerner. Founding the Booster Club has been such a passion project, and I’m beyond excited to help support and grow our incredible programs. Whether I’m writing, editing, or brainstorming something new, I love finding ways to bring creativity and collaboration to everything we do. When I’m not working on a story, you’ll probably find me on stage, in the kitchen or spending time with friends and family.

This project is something I’ve truly poured my heart into, and I can’t wait to see all the amazing things it will bring to our communications programs. The potential for growth, collaboration, and creativity is endless—and this is just the beginning! When I’m not writing or editing, you’ll probably find me in a show, traveling, or laughing hard with my friends.

Hi I’m Kai Chen! I’m currently the Associate Managing Editor of photography for the Southerner. I am so grateful to be Secretary this year and work with all the amazing people on this team. In addition to the Southerner I am also on Midtown’s Speech and Debate Team and love taking pictures, spending time with friends, and traveling! So excited to reach our full potential with this club!

Hi I’m Leor Gutierrez! I’m currently on the Orator staff. I am so excited to be helping with student engagement and involvement with this group. In addition to this program & the Orator, I play lacrosse, love traveling , and hanging out with my friends! So so excited for what this next year holds!

Hi I’m Avery Frank and I am a member of the Orator staff. I love the Orator because I’ve made so many great friendships through the class and we get to put so much hard work into such an amazing memory for Midtown every year. 

Hi! My name is Emma and I’m a junior at Midtown. I’ve been Co-Editor-in-Chief of the Orator for 2 years and love what I do! I’m excited to see where this booster club is headed and how it is going to benefit the journalism community at Midtown.

Hi! My name is Lara Hodson and I’m a rising junior. This year, I will be a managing editor for the Southerner. In my free time I enjoy dance and musical theater productions, as well as spending time with my friends. I’m looking forwards to working with the booster club to support all of our communication pathways at Midtown! 

I’m Lucy Timmons and I am The Unmasking’s representative. I am super excited to join the team and help The Unmasking and the Southerner work together! I’m also on the Ultimate Frisbee team.

Hello hello! I'm Thomas Brown, and here's why I want to be American's next top model. Just kidding, mostly, I'm the co-head editor of Midtown High School's literary magazine, The Unmasking. The Unmasking has and will always be an important part of my life, because it's where I learned how to express my creativity, and where I hone that ability to this day.
